Since its debut in 2024, The Midnight Parade has sparked an ongoing collaboration between HeadFullOfRocks and Foolish Productions—an emerging force in the Vancouver arts scene. In this remount, HFoR and Foolish brought the work back with a fresh cast, featuring creative heavy-hitters Aisha Wewala (Crochet Lad) and Zoe Braithwaite (Brain). With original music by Ally Dean, this new iteration was completely unpredictable. We removed virtually all choreography, grounding the entire performance in improvisational movement. The result was a version of The Midnight Parade that was more vulnerable, more responsive, and more alive than ever before.
